About me - Lee Atkinson
Lee Atkinson - Thirty four year old (surprisingly placid) chef - Born in Spennymoor - County Durham.
I moved to Somerset - UK - three years ago to take up my new position as Head Chef at a country pub/restaurant, just outside of Taunton, having previously lived/worked in North Yorkshire (Richmond, Crathorne, Thirsk), Berkshire (Yattendon) and Hampshire (Basingstoke).
Amongst other things, i love Monkey - That’s the old Japanese Chop-Socky TV show that caused me so many injuries as a kid (hence this site!) - though i don’t have any beef with real Monkeys!
I also like Newcastle United, Cadbury's cream eggs and Corona and cook a lot too - there's no getting away from it - it's my job!
As you can see, i've travelled around the UK a bit with work, which has all been a grand adventure and i've met some really interesting people along the way - most of which became friends. The problem with moving around so much is, inevitably, you lose track of these people, so.. i've decided to make a bit of an effort to track them down.
